How to air fry yucca. Don t crowd the pan each fry should be touching the pan. Mix oil and seasoning in a bowl. If you prefer larger fries cut the yuca longer and thinner. Drain and dry thoroughly. Fry the yuca in batches until golden brown and crispy about 5 minutes per batch.
Drain well remove the hard fibrous stems in the center of the cooked pieces. Set the dried yuca aside and allow to cool. Place the cooked yuca in a bowl and toss olive oil salt and pepper to taste. Transfer the yuca into a dry bowl add oil salt and pepper and the remaining seasonings. Boil in water with salt until the yuca can be pierced with a fork. Then soak them in cold water for about 15 minutes.
If you prefer thicker fries cut the yuca into wider wedges. Serve immediately with salt and pepper to taste. Once you ve used a strainer to remove the water pat the yuca dry. Cut the yuca into french fry sized sticks discarding the fibrous core. Place yuca in mixing bowl and coat with oil and salt.
Slice the yuca into your desired fry shape. Place yuca in basket of air fryer and place basket with yuca into air fryer. Air fry at 365 o f for approximately 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown tossing in between cooking. Preheat the air fryer if necessary and fry the yuca for no more than 15 minutes on 380. Heat oil in deep fryer to 375 degrees f 190 degrees c.
