Noise cancelling headphones have more ear padding designed for passive noise cancellation but even the best noise cancelling headphones cannot clean itself.
How to clean in ear headphones. Add a little amount of soap or detergent in warm water and make a homogenous solution of it. Take a clean microfiber cloth piece and apply some rubbing alcohol on it. Clean the entire surface of the ear cups and the rest of the headphones. Stretch the headband and use rubbing alcohol to clean the stains. Dampen a cotton ball or q tip with rubbing alcohol and clean any nooks and crannies.
Now gently rub the surfaces of the headphone to clean sticky stains off. I advise you to buy in extra to be able to change them very regularly. Remove the ear pads and use a soft brush to clear the big debris off it. Clean soft alcohol wipes. Cleaning in ear headphones is very easy.
Dampen a paper towel or clean cloth with rubbing alcohol. Most of the time in ear headphones are always supplied with interchangeable plastic ear tips. You can use an ordinary detergent in the place of soap also. Do this on both the ear cups in areas like fabric folds and the main headphone unit. First fill up a small container with warm water that has some dish detergent in it.
