Create a water and vinegar solution mix 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of distilled white vinegar. Hold the bottle 6 inches away from surface. Use a fresh sponge and lots of cold distilled water.
In a small bowl mix equal parts vinegar and water until you have an even mixture. Blot the salt stained areas wipe the salt stained area with the vinegar solution using a white cloth or cotton ball. If the water vinegar mix starts getting gunky toss out and make a new batch. Remember you never want to soak your boots even with this new cleaning solution. This would replace the suede cleaner.
