How To Clean Wax Headphones
Follow these steps to clean your in ear headphones.
How to clean wax headphones. Then cover the end of a toothpick with an alcohol wipe and carefully. After adding the detergent wring the rag out thoroughly over the sink. Now gently rub the surfaces of the headphone to clean sticky stains off. Let them sit for 5 minutes while the bubbling action loosens the wax. Using a dry soft toothbrush preferably a children s toothbrush brush the wire mesh gently to dislodge any dirt or clogged ear wax.
Gently remove any ear wax or other dirt from the speaker mesh with your wooden toothpick. Tap the non mesh side logo side of the earbuds to help knock some of the debris off. Remove any stuck on grime wax or dirt. Take a clean microfiber cloth piece and apply some rubbing alcohol on it. Use a very small amount of dishwashing detergent on a wet soft cloth.
Fill a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of hand soap or liquid detergent. It should be just barely damp and only contain a small amount of soap when you apply it to your headphones. Dip a soft cotton or microfiber cloth into the solution wring it out until it s not dripping then get to work. Apply a few drops of hydrogen peroxide 3 concentration or less to a toothbrush and gently brush the wax on your headphones or ear buds. If you see any earwax in the holes use a toothpick to wedge it out.
Hold your earphones with the mesh side facing downwards. Wipe down the entirety of the drivers with a soft damp cloth. Wet a cloth with water and dishwashing detergent. Remove the ear pads and use a soft brush to clear the big debris off it. Stretch the headband and use rubbing alcohol to clean the stains.
