Fortunately you can drain a toilet in only a few minutes. Use a plunger or snake tool. Remove the flange bolt covers located near the floor on the left and right side of the toilet. Pour the baking soda into the drain and let it sit. The pressure may dislodge the blockage and clean out the toilet drain.
